Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.
A rocket scientist over in [info]techsupport seems to think that Americans invented the English language and that people in the UK and Australia don't speak English.

Good times.

It's like, things that happen erode the plane of probability until there are event beds. And later on, they become event canyons. From that point on, other things that happen have little choice but to follow their predetermined path.

Eventually all things that will happen in the world will come in the shape of people calling [info]boogara a moron. Which is arguably much better then, let's say, asteroids colliding with earth, the return of the return of Godzilla and lots of other nasty things.

Though there are some pessimist scientists who argue instead that finally, all events will come in the shape of Twilight posts on Fandom_Lounge.

But- how did the event beds get uplifted, and what river eroded them to form the event canyon? *confused geologist*

Well, the definition of bed is the same as in 'river bed' here, so it gets eroded, not uplifted.

And the erosion is caused by the River of Homogeneous Events - in this case the Stream of Boogara is a Moron Events, of course.

Ah, but a sufficiently unpredictable occurance could radicly reshape an event bed. Say, an astroid colliding with boogra or millions of Twilight fans suddenly coming to their senses. Proving that even seemingly predetermined events can be sufficiently altered by random events.

I like to think that god doesn't so much play dice, as rolls to save vs. stupidity.
