I would feel pretty damn shitty about myself if my cashier was laughing at me.

Wow. I think [info]internetnoodles needs to get out more. Maybe that will lessen the importance of service industry professionals in hir life.

I'm a pretty insecure person and I'd probably feel like crap (for about five minutes), but I certainly wouldn't believe they were laughing at me unless they gave me good reason to. It's not like I've never had anyone misinterpret the things I say, anyway.

She gets a little extreme about her reactions sometimes, but she's a pretty okay person. She wasn't the cat=gay reaction, thank god.
