Though the homophobia isn't really that far off the mark--in both cases, it's a lifestyle choice that's being hated on.

Except most gay people wouldn't call it a choice, and liking cats is not a lifestyle and they're nothing remotely similar and COMPARISONS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY! GOODNIGHT!

I had no idea cats could choose to be cats. If that's so, my cat would be Supreme Unquestioned Lord and Master of the Universe.

And also? Cat owners and dog owners have exactly the same rights, except cat owners maybe have a bit more because it's easier to find an apartment that'll take a cat then will take a dog.
