I love my dead, gay cat?
Not liking cats: now on par with oppressing gays.

What is it with some people that everyone has to validate their choices - their likes and dislikes. To each his/her own I always say. So some random stranger doesn't like your pet of choice - what is it to you? As been said, if it was someone you had deal with in the course of caring for your pet - the pet store, the vet, or something then yeah, it could be a problem. But a random stranger?

I wonder what some of those people would say about someone like me, who does not hate cats, but is allergic to them. They literally make me sick...not deathly ill, but I am pretty miserable until I can away form the cat/cats and take a good shower to get rid of the dander. My solution to this is as much as possible to stay away from cats and to limit my time in the house of people who have cats.

I tried to formulate a capslocky argument about how since you avoid cats for your own comfort and are just like homophobes who say that gay people are okay if they're not gay in public and then my brain broke out of sheer NO NO NO NO NO.
