I love the people who think cashiers should never say anything but "hi how are you?" and "have a nice day". But I like conversations with people. DDD: I don't mind chatting it up with the poor person who's on their feet for hours and tends to deal with assholes.

Hahahaha, oh yeah. XD Sometimes shutting up and being a good little drone is a good thing :)

You must admit, though, that there are times when the better part of cashier survival follows my sister's rule for dealing with anyone with a whacky or confusing opinion: "Smile and nod, smile and nod."
