Gee, this wank smells terrific
So, what do you think about "salon" shampoos that you buy from overstock stores?

They're evil and wrong. EVIL AND WRONG! DANGER WILL ROBINSON! THEY KILLED A MAN IN RENO JUST TO WATCH HIM DIE!

YES. I hate "product". Mostly unrelated, but I also hate the fashion industry's phobia of plural words. "You shouldn't wear that pant with that shoe." "I think we should go with a full lip and a smokey eye." I have visions of one-legged, one-eyed, one-lipped models hopping down the runway.

I just realized the word I was reaching for: Pretentious.

Totally describes that weird phobia and the "product" nonsense.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that bothers. *shudder*

I'm imagining models wearing one pantleg, half a top, one lip lipsticked, one eye made-up, ... And of course, having said that, I'm betting that'll be the fashion in less than ten years. (Well, the half-make-up anyway.)

Somewhere someone has done that and was considered avant garde.

I'm so amazed and relieved to discover that other people share this pet peeve!

Also, the excessive use of 'little'. "We've got a cute little pant with a little belt and this adorable little shoe, that has a little bow accent and a gorgeous little heel, with this little top that's got a little AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH."

I love Project Runway and similar shows, but this kind of thing is like nails on a chalkboard. "I just don't know about that pant."

Oh, Tim. MUST you speak this kind of nonsensical jargon? /sigh

Well, in all fairness, most of the contestants do seem to make only one-half of a pair of pants when they're required. Like it's the evil design from hell that will kill you when you go pee in the toilet.
