I actually think she looks nice.
bodymods is a community about piercings, tattoos, and other things people decorate their bodies with. It's a bit heavy on the snark at times - making a first post without tags will get you mocked by the mods, and new users are expected to lurk until they get a decent idea of what's allowed and what isn't. But generally it's a nice place to ask questions and share personal experience.

As it turns out, showing off your new piercing in your first post is not what the community is for. lunsanslautre does it anyway. She's told to maybe try that shit somewhere else. Whether or not the grievance was that bad, or even incorrect at all, you'd think if the majority of the community tells you something, you'd get the hint. Also you'll never win people over by telling them they're wrong.

But maybe...MAYBE I've been wrong all this time and that's exactly the way to make people love you!

Hahaha I didn't even finish reading the wank report before clicking to see the photos and I was like "Hmm, this looks shopped, I can tell because of the pixels &c" - the first and last ones, especially

But holy crap, I'm disturbed by the big ear loops. I don't know what bothers me about them, but wow, dis~turb~ing.

Anyway, I also laugh at the fact that as cool as she is right now (or as cool as she thinks she is), she's likely going to regret those mods in ten, twenty years. Facial piercings and big ear things (*shudder*) just don't look the same when your skin is loose and wrinkly.

At least she didn't try to pierce her tongue herself. Man, I had someone tell me that they did that recently, a teenager mind y'all, and I was like WTF way to be INTELLIGENT there, kiddo.

The fact that you can SEE THROUGH HER FLESH OMG? Because that's what gets me. Whenever I look at those kinds of piercings I feel the vague urge to try and stick a pencil through them (wtf? it is an odd response). (Also, what happens if you don't like them anymore? I hear you have to keep them in because your ear loses structural support without them and your ears go all floppy. /o\)

Where do they look photoshopped? I can see a gap in the hair to the right of the first one, but that could just be lunsanslautre wearing a ponytail. And in the last one the hole above her lip could be missing, or that pic could just have been taken before that piercing was made.

Yeah, I'm kinda terrible at spotting this stuff, so I'm trying to teach myself how to. /curious

	I agree that 3/4 shots does not make a picture "myspacey" just because myspace has a tendency to popularise everything, even if it's of artistic value and quality.
