God, I love Gaia.

The personals forums are infamous for harboring prostitution (for GAIA GOLD) and the like. So much so, that there's a petition to get rid of them. But, that's neither here nor there.

This really has to deal with a little chibi foxgirl who thinks that if only the admins created a place for the smut, everything would be all better. Unfortunately, Gaia's supposed to be appropriate for 13-year-olds. (Which leaves me to wonder why there's a Personals forum in the first place...)

At first it doesn't look like it'll be dynamic--just the usual smacking-down that goes on in Q&F. However, our protagonist will not let go of her idea that easily.

[Saying that a "naughty Personals" will make the problem worse] is like saying condoms will only increase people having sex because it makes it safer so they should be illegalized. Haven't you ever heard of programs where they give heroine addicts clean needles so they will use those instead of using dirty ones? They can't stop the people from doing heroine so they at least try to make it less of a problem for society as a whole. -GreenKitsune

Condoms don't sue Gaia or get it investigated for child endangerment by the FBI, dear. This site stands on a PG-13 platform, and they have to make EVERY effort to maintain that standing or can be held accountable. If someone is desperate to cyber, they can get their "Clean needle" on a million other parts of the net. They need to get the hell of Gaia though. -Sajhiri

Once again, do I need to explain what an analogy is? I'm not saying Gaia's forums are like real life. I'm saying the realationship real life has with heroine is simular to the relationship Gaia has with adult posts in the personals.
Also I never suggested that it be legal, only that you create a place for it to occur. Back to my analogy (though I guess using it is a bit pointless as you don't understand the concept) giving heroine addicts isn't legalizing heroine it is just trying to make the situation better. I said it wouldn't be a good idea to outright call the "naughty" section "The naughty section", because you are just creating an area and subtley suggestion that adult things be posted there. Then the dirty stuff is seperated from the clean stuff, and it is all in one area so it will be easier to police.
No offense but I really don't think you can think on the level that my suggestion works on. That is ok though, I'm sure you are smart in other ways. -GreenKitsune
