I had to check the original to confirm my reading, but...the OP really is saying that she doesn't think there can be any linkage between race and class, because the classes are all money-based, and therefore race doesn't enter into it.

(Actually, this puts me in mind of a friend, who emigrated to the US from the UK. A good guy, but he emigrated to escape what he saw as nanny-stating, so he's a bit touchy about governmental interference. But at least he knows some American history and understands where we fall down.)
