But everyone knows that everything is better wrapped in bacon. Just think about it.

Steak? Wrapped in BACON!

Hot dogs? Wrapped in BACON!

Ice cream? WRAPPED IN BACON!

Yes, the world will be a beautiful place as soon as the masses open their eyes to the truth.

My favorite recipe? JalapeƱo poppers, stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon. Preferably roasted over a campfire, but the oven set to 'broil' will do.

I'm a vegetarian who hated bacon even back when I ate meat, and I just drooled on the keyboard (literally, a paper towel was needed). Brilliant!

Hot dogs? Wrapped in BACON!

In LA we call them suicide dogs, and they are great when you're drunk. (ONLY THEN.)

I find myself wondering if they rival Gumby's pepperoni rolls. We used to order these when we were really drunk (or really hung over), and I suspect that part of the recipe involves injecting grease into the roll. Roll isn't the right word.

Has anyone else subjected themselves to the delicious drunken delight stomach-clenching pain that in Gumby's pepperoni rolls?

Some friends and I actually made bacon ice cream once.

It was delicious, but disturbingly pink. :/

My ex and I had a whole bacon thing going for a while -- he found a recipe for bacon chocolate chip cookies, and was fascinated by that, so we made a couple batches. Then we started sending each other all sorts of "tee-hee look at this" bacon links.

We still do -- he just found the bacon martini recently, and I found the turbaconducken, which looks even worse than the bacon roll (the turbaconducken: a duck wrapped in bacon, stuffed inside a chicken, which was then also wrapped in bacon and then stuffed inside a turkey, which was itself also wrapped in bacon and then broiled).

Wouldn't that cause a hole in the space-time continuum?

Lola's in Cleveland (One of Michael Symon's restaurants) has a maple & bacon ice cream that I'm curious to try. Meanwhile, every once in a while we do bacon wrapped turkey legs here.

There's an ice cream place in Seattle (well, it's in White Center, which technically isn't Seattle, but I live right next to it) that does the maple bacon ice cream. It is gooooooood.

(The ice cream place is called Full Tilt, for those of you who are in the area. They have pinball. It is much with the awesome.)

The maple bacon ice cream is delicious. If you make it to Lola, you should also try the Lola fries -- they're shoestring fries cooked in animal fat (remember how good McDonalds fries used to be?) and sprinkled with sea salt and rosemary. Best. Fries. Ever.

The fries we've tried. Went there last year for my birthday and I loved it. This year we're going to Symon's other restaurant Lolita's for the pig roast. :)

On No Reservations once, Anthony went to this bakery that served, amongst other things, a maple bacon donut. He admitted to having his reservations at first, but was all impressed by how good it was and went back for more later in the episode. I'd kill to try it or the ice cream.
