	I can tell the difference (on me) between a cheap haircut from the beauty school and an expensive one in the salon, but it still isn't worth the difference to me, and I also buy whatever shampoo is cheapest. (I have totally irrational views on make-up however.) (Reply to this)(Parent)

I'm both cheap and lazy, so not only have I neer paid more than $10 for a haircut, I usually wait a few months in between haircuts because if I haven't been in a while the place where I get it cut sends me pretty $7.99 coupons. (I have curly hair, so even when it's long you can't really tell the length unless it gets wet. My criteria for "need a haircut" is generally 'have a coupon' and 'stupid frizzy hair is bugging me,' in that order.)

Ugh. I have curly hair too, but it's really fine, and if I go more than 3-4 months without a haircut (and a good haircut, someone who knows how to layer curly hair) it looks like crap. It takes me ages to find someone who can cut my hair right and the cheapest I've found yet to do a decent job is $35.

Also cannot use anything but salon or Lush hair products because everything else either dries it out completely or oils it down way too much.

I hate my hair.

	Pretty good actually. I'm thinking about doing the pony-tail on top of the head thing to see if I can get it to come out more even (I tend to have split end up front, but not in back), but it's not noticeably uneven. You just need a sharp pair of scissors. (Reply to this)(Parent)
