	Is this where I admit to being a horrible person for paying $40 a month for a haircut? I finally found a manageable hairstyle for my thick, curly hair, and I'll start handing over arms and legs to the stylist who can let me look polished without spending 45 minutes with styling tools. 	FIFTY LASHES! NEVER FORGIVEN! Nah, I get my hair done up nice every six months or so at a professional salon. When I get it highlighted it costs around $80. I like it when my hair looks nice. I've since moved to Orlando where they have a beauty school, so I think I'll start going there instead. Although I'm afraid of getting a Beezus Dorothy Hamill failcut. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Hey, if it's manageable, and you can pay for it, no harm to you. Some people are not lucky enough to be able to go months between haircuts and only need to brush lightly every day. (Reply to this)(Parent)

Um, I pay around 100euros when I go to the hairdresser, and I have short hair.

Granted, I think a chunk of the price comes from me wanting it dyed black with red or pink or blue highlights (it looks snazzy), which means they need to bleach the highlights and then put the colour on. But still. Which is why I usually only go every three months or so and just suffer through root growth.

	Heck, no! I totally sympathize with the curly-haired blues. If you can afford it and it makes you look and feel good, what business is it of anyone else's how much you spend on your hair? (Reply to this)(Parent)
