Do you have alfredo in a can? Well, let him out!
So, [info]hourglasscreate makes a post to the cooking community which includes a recipe for "Easy Fettucine Alfredo" which she supposedly got off of a Campbell's Soup can. This does not go over well.

ETA: Aaaand the second link has gone bye-bye. Now how will I find a recipe for boiled water? ;_;

ANOTHER ETA: She's wanking it up again in a whole new post! This time, it's about "sloppy joes".

I'll just sit in this corner over here, hating on Campbell's condensed soup or what ever it's called. Not because it's trashy, but because the ones I've tasted were vile, vile I tell you.

I'll stick with Covent Garden soup if I have some money and Knorr sachets if I don't. (And if I'm really lucky, a sachet of Erin Irish potato soup omnomnomnom :)

To each, their own. I don't like Campbell's for eating, because honestly, I'd rather have a good thick soup. But once I doctor it up, it's not so bad. Never cooked with Knorr or Covent Garden.

Knorr gravy mixes are awesome. Alas, the green peppercorn flavor no longer seems to be available in the US. *sad face*

Campbell's regular soups tend to make me quite ill.

I can stand their creamed soups though. Don't know what the difference is?

I'm the other way around. I can sometimes eat their regular soup (if I don't do it often), but their cream soup (especially if I put it in a casserole or something) makes me violently ill.

I agree here, except that I can't eat the cream of soups unless they're in a casserole, and even then I'm really picky about it.

Well, that and I'd rock the canned soup way more often if anyone but me ate it around here.

I'm going to go home and make myself some lovely shark fin soup. It's not Campbell's, but I'm sure it's some equivalent of.

I'd say Knorr sachets are the way and the light, except I'm a Podravka fangirl.
