Do you have alfredo in a can? Well, let him out!
So, [info]hourglasscreate makes a post to the cooking community which includes a recipe for "Easy Fettucine Alfredo" which she supposedly got off of a Campbell's Soup can. This does not go over well.

ETA: Aaaand the second link has gone bye-bye. Now how will I find a recipe for boiled water? ;_;

ANOTHER ETA: She's wanking it up again in a whole new post! This time, it's about "sloppy joes".

For what it's worth, I order my mayonnaise from out of state, because I can't find it locally.

Kalamazoo, Michigan. Supposedly there's a store in Grand Rapids that has it, but it's just as easy (if not more so) to have my mother send a couple of jars from Virginia, or order it directly from the company.

Good news is, we're moving back south this summer, so I should be able to buy Duke's regularly soon!

I love Duke's mayo. Nomnomnom.

inorite?! I'd just about flip if I moved somewhere w/out it. Dry sammiches are bad and I just don't like mustard that much. :D

You buy your mayonnaise, instead of making it by hand? Oh, dear.

(tuts sadly and walks away shaking head)

Yeah, I know. The real tragedy is that my grandfather took his mayo recipe (AND his coleslaw recipe!) to the grave with him. :-(

I have tried and failed to make a mayo-like spread (it was an aioli) by hand FIVE TIMES. I AM NEVER MAKING MAYO BY HAND AGAIN. Ahem. /thoughts on mayo.
