Save Spuds Mackenzie!!1!!
Soooo, a three year old kid broke out the Crayola washable markers and went to town on the family dog.

This being Cute Overload the response was immediate and predictable.

HORRIBLE PARENTING!

BAH! HORRIBLE CHILDFREE OVERREACTION!

YIKES! HORRIBLE THROW ON THAT COUCH!

I have a FANTASTIC picture of my kid when I thought she was taking a nap and she was actually (very quietly) painting herself (and her bed, and her wall, in our old apartment) bright teal with a stamp pad. She's all excited, holding her teal hands out towards the camera, and being very proud at being a slightly off-color Smurf.

(Well, I say I have a picture, actually my mom took it after I called her and calmly said, "Please take your granddaughter for an hour or two?" Bless my mom for realizing, "YOUR granddaughter" was code for "I am about to lose my shit here, pls help me.")

Speaking of blue toddlers, there is, and one day will be scanned, a photo of my little sister, covered in blue paint, clad in a nappy, asleep on the footstool of the kitchen sofa.

Yes, it has been shown to boyfriends.
