Soooo, a three year old kid broke out the Crayola washable markers and went to town on the family dog.

This being Cute Overload the response was immediate and predictable.

HORRIBLE PARENTING!

The article on "Riders" (sentient bacterial colonies - The Virus, basically) in GURPS Aliens mentioned that one of the things about infected societies that tends to look odd to outsiders is that a Rider colony in an animal is the social equal of those in "people."

I remember seeing that a while back as a reply to that one video that showed a dog pulling another dog off of a freeway. The comments abounded with humanity-hating, and included almost that exact line. Wonder if it's the same person?

No. Clearly dogs should have the right to have their marriages to other dogs recognised in the eyes of God.
