Soooo, a three year old kid broke out the Crayola washable markers and went to town on the family dog.

This being Cute Overload the response was immediate and predictable.

HORRIBLE PARENTING!

BAH! HORRIBLE CHILDFREE OVERREACTION!

YIKES! HORRIBLE THROW ON THAT COUCH!

We didn't have a cat, so my older daughter had to cut the younger's hair. The younger kid thought it was funny at first, but after being taken to the hairdresser and getting a bob she did not want to even it up as much as possible, she was furious and wanted her hair back. We explained that was impossible, but she was still angry.

So, of course, she let her sister do the same damn thing 6 months later.
