Yep. Friend of mine had a Rottweiler, and started freaking out when she got pregnant (the woman). I kept telling her the dog would be fine, that she'd see the kid as a man-puppy and bond with it. She finally calmed down and listened to me. Couple of years later, I was amazed at the abuse that dog would take from that baby. Nothing could have induced her to hurt the kid, and she never did.

	Rottweilers get such a bad rep. My cousin is a firm, loving master of a beautiful female Rottweilier/ridgeback cross, and she's SUCH a sweetheart. They also have an elderly little Maltese terrier and she is so good with it, it's sweet. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Most big "mean" dogs are actually big old babies. I've never met a pitbull I didn't like and who wasn't a total a)wuss, b) lovebug, c)mother hen, or d) all of the above. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
