Same sex couples physically can’t have children, therefore, there is no point to the relationship.

Anti-gay ad in the Salt Lake Tribune is posted for discussino at KVNU’s For The People
http://kvnuforthepeople.com/2009/02/16/anti-gay-ad-in-the-salt-lake-tribune/

The comments are a general chorus disgust at the content and making fun of the horrible design. Until "Kaye" chimes in, starting with "I’m straight but I have plenty of gay friends" and ending by bringing Hitler into it. After that it's non-stop fun.

ETA: My mistake. This should be in [info]unfunnybusiness

ETA2: To clarify: Homophobia is not funny. People who invoke Godwin's should be mocked mercilessly.

Ah shit, there goes my only reason for clicking on "# Comments". (Well that and to see if the OP responded yet. They're usually no where to be found. I see that in this case, s/he may as well be elsewhere since there's a strong troll vibe coming off the comments that were made.)

Honestly, yes. This is the first comment of yours that sounds somewhat sincere. If *you* really thought this was so funny you could have posted it to your own journal or better yet, to spare your flist, bookmarked it and saved it in a "Articles I Find Hysterically Funny" folder on your own computer.

The best thing you can do here is to admit that regardless of how *you* found this article, the content really belongs in [info]unfunnybusiness. You've had an account for a long time so you really shouldn't be that 'ignorant' of where things belong when posting around here. I'd lj-cut the content and add an "ETA" if I were you. That is, if it really was not your intention at all.

You're being so much more generous that I was about to be. I'd read that comment as her saying she'd made the comments over there, but had meant them to sound funny rather than trollish. Hmm.

Honestly, I'd never heard of unfunnybusiness until today. My bad for not keeping up to date on the current communities. I doubt I will make the same mistake again.
