After the wank about the color purple, this was only a matter of time.

Next up: Wank about the SKY! Is it really up there? Or is it all a conspiracy? Clouds: Innocent water vapor formations or sinister masks for hovering sky-fortresses? And who gets to decide that it's REALLY blue, anyway? What if it's GREEN and we just THINK it's blue! Don't trust SCIENCE, trust your own eyes!!

I've seen a green sky before. Usually in the context of 'the clouds outside worry me a lot'.

Yes, I was one of those kids who would respond 'the sky is blue... or black at night, or gray when it's cloudy, or sometimes orange, red, pink or purple at sunset and rarely green or yellow during storms, or that weird purple-red color it gets during cloudy nights in the city from the lights on the ground'.

	I used to say "a rainbow" because at sunset it usually was a variety of colors, especially if the clouds got in the way. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	In my old fandom, there was a days long flamewar over one person calling the sky grey or some shit and others taking mortal offense. It was... interesting to watch. To this day I'm not sure entirely what the hell was going on. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Ahaha, that was probably the IRC thing I was talking about above. What it was that one person (you could probably guess who) was saying the sky wasn't actually blue, it was black and we just perceive it as blue. Other people took offense to this. I think I came in about 15 minutes into the conversation, blinked and laughed my head off. And then I think they redid it a year later on the messageboards.

	In some places, green and blue are more or less the same colour because the people never learnt to distinguish between the two. At least that's what I read somewhere. So yeah, the sky is green. (Reply to this)(Parent)
