Olive to Wank
You guys like food wank right? How about some Olive Oil wank? That's what I call a well lubed wank.

lovethatlovage posts a picture of their stovetop on picturing food. sjaustin then comments on their olive oil storage method and it devolves. As if that's not fun enough, lovethatlovage then drags the issue over to stupid_free where sjaustin gets in the first comment. Calls of grudgewank ensue and people start discussing their favorite food wanks of the past.

What's your favorite/most delicious food wank?

Oh, also? Smart Balance spread made with olive oil is some of the best not-butter ever. :D

Oo. I may have to try that.

I'm partial to that Brummel & Brown stuff made with yogurt, but as awesome as it tastes it doesn't behave like butter at all--try making a grilled cheese sandwich with it, that bitch will stick right to the pan.

I know exactly what you mean. It tastes great on toast or a muffin, but you can't cook with it at all.

Yes times 12. I actually prefer it to butter on toast. The flax oil version is my favorite, but all the Smart Balance varieties are made of pure not-butter awesomeness.

Smart Balance for the motherfucking WIN. I grew up on I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, and I never thought margarine could actually taste good. ~hugs Smart Balance tub~

I have to use margarine because of my diabetes and I use Can't Believe over some of the other crap out there. But then if I wanna make something taste good, I add a lot of spices. I'm in love with white pepper, especially in mashed potatoes.

In Australia we have something called Olive Grove (I think...) and it's sounds like the same deal. It's so delicious but I could only ever have it at my Mum's place.

SMART BALANCE.

I'm a picky eater, much to my parents' aggravation, and I notice little differences in taste. I was displeased with the change from the margarine we used to use to real butter. Then they switched to Smart Balance and we had one of those surprise moments when I went, "Hey, this is good."
