HOW DARE YOU CALL ME FAT
Mars from Chicken Dinner Candybar does her regular Fat Love Friday and includes Marie from Agent Lover.

Marie is put off by her inclusion on a "fat" list and tells Mars so.

Mars offers to take it down. Marie refuses. Instead, she proclaims on her blog, "oh haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale no!

Chaos ensues in the comments about fatphobia, body acceptance, fashion sense (or the lack thereof), and kissing-up commentors.

Is Marie brave or is she overreacting?

(I'm in the comments and I know Natalie [the 'overreacting' link], so I am slightly involved in the wank aftermath. It's pretty obvious which side i'm on.)

You're kind of overlooking the fact that sometimes what makes people appear fat are a) genetics; and/or b) metabolism. I don't consider those "health or lifestyle factors." Some people naturally have fast metabolism that burns up every calorie they put in their mouth and stay thin, while others have slow ones that stores practically everything (as fat, of course).

Also? Losing weight isn't the real problem. Keeping it off is. And even if you decided to stick to SlimFast shakes/products for the rest of your life? Your body adjusts. What you did last week to lose weight may not work this week because your body said, "Ok, new intake factors! Adjusting now!"
