HOW DARE YOU CALL ME FAT
Mars from Chicken Dinner Candybar does her regular Fat Love Friday and includes Marie from Agent Lover.

Marie is put off by her inclusion on a "fat" list and tells Mars so.

Mars offers to take it down. Marie refuses. Instead, she proclaims on her blog, "oh haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale no!

Chaos ensues in the comments about fatphobia, body acceptance, fashion sense (or the lack thereof), and kissing-up commentors.

Is Marie brave or is she overreacting?

(I'm in the comments and I know Natalie [the 'overreacting' link], so I am slightly involved in the wank aftermath. It's pretty obvious which side i'm on.)

She makes some good points, but then she seemingly randomly dismisses a lot of countering good points people make in the comments. Her girlfriend is a nurse and she's been around the fat positivity community for years, so she doesn't need to give any actual cites for what she's saying! She dismisses scientific studies because they're old and somehow medical science knows more about losing weight now, even though they're giving the same advice that they've given for a hundred years! (Except for smoking to lose weight.) Her 90% number is grossly understating the actual, scientifically arrived at number, but her point stands!

Overall, she comes off as one of those annoying people who think that it's okay for everyone else to be fat, but not her. (And yes, I realize that her knee feels better now, but it sounds like she's now losing weight for the sake of not being fat, not for her knee.)
