HOW DARE YOU CALL ME FAT
Mars from Chicken Dinner Candybar does her regular Fat Love Friday and includes Marie from Agent Lover.

Marie is put off by her inclusion on a "fat" list and tells Mars so.

Mars offers to take it down. Marie refuses. Instead, she proclaims on her blog, "oh haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale no!

Chaos ensues in the comments about fatphobia, body acceptance, fashion sense (or the lack thereof), and kissing-up commentors.

Is Marie brave or is she overreacting?

(I'm in the comments and I know Natalie [the 'overreacting' link], so I am slightly involved in the wank aftermath. It's pretty obvious which side i'm on.)

And a WORD to you. I'm 5'0 and have seen my "ideal weight" as low as 97 and never higher than about 120. I was pretty healthy as a kid and in early teens, and the last time I was 120, I didn't have tits yet.

(I am right near the "obese" mark by most measurements, which I find hilarious. I will admit to needing to improve my physical fitness, because there's no reason that stairs should be so difficult, but obese? Please.)

/tl;dr

OMG the BMI thing....I'm 5'2 and weigh about 140 now. I used to weigh 40 pounds more, but I started a job where I'm on my feet running around all day, and it just gradually came off. When I hit the 165 mark and realized how much I'd lost without even trying, I decided to try calculating my BMI, just out of curiosity. It was 30.7....freaking clinically obese. At a size 12, with a BP of 110/70. What. The. Fuck.
