OK, the event she describes is definitively...odd. My brain kind of stopped somewhere around the rabbit. It's a rabbit. In a library. Buh?

Anyways, the knitters in the OP are awfully knee-jerk defensive and the OP seems...well, kind of bitchy, really. I do so love it when both sides of an argument are deserving of mockery. Silly knitters, spinnners, and crochet people. Needlepoint is where it's at.
