The comments there quickly descended into "anything by Google that's not search/ads/mail is useless!", "what would you know!", "Rob Pike and Ken Thompson are legends how dare you insult them!", "Go is like C!", "no it's not!", "C sucks!", "you don't have a choice now suck it up!", "ERRRRLANG!", etc.
