Wind; hear my cry!
Over on lj on [info]nonwiccanwitch a user asks At what point does "support" become "fostering delusions?>

The focus of the discussion quickly turns to whether or not one can control the weather.

Call me delusional, if you want to. I've seen folks control the weather

And as it turns out someone in a (now deleted, sadly) post thinks they can control the weather.

Is it okay to tell your children you can control the weather?

Maybe its just me, but this whole thing makes me want to go watch X-Men.

I can cause high winds by wearing a wrap skirt.

I used to be able to do that by carrying my 2x3 foot portfolio case when I was commuting to university.

Hee, I had a bigbig portfolio like that - thankfully the weight I gained in college prevented it from catching some wind and taking off with me tow. It sure felt close there a couple times, though.

I am a bumless tiny woman.

I pretty much got blown down roads on bad days, and once ended up clinging to the safety rail of an overpass bridge in panic because I was sure the gale force winds were gonna send me onto the highway. NOT FUN.

Freakin' portfolio.
