	We had an amusing moment with that a few times. My electronic dance music professor had his ring just after he told everyone to shut off their phones. It was the guest DJ we were supposed to have - he had been detained at the airport and arrested because apparently turntables are suspicious equipment. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	A lot of my visiting lecturers are doctors from various hospitals and/or practices, either in town or out of it. Several times, we've had them get calls from work, usually from other health staff going, "Um, where the hell are you? Why aren't you at work?" (Yeah, doctors are sometimes bad at scheduling their own lives. :P) (Reply to this)(Parent)

Haha, I had one tutor who gave us this whole spiel about turning off our phones and how leaving it on vibrate did not count! as you could still hear it and it was really distracting. Halfway through someone's phone started to vibrate, and I was all, ooh, someone's gonna get it now--

--and then I realised it was the tutor's phone. XD

(Best part is that she completely failed to notice it ringing.)
