This guy is campaigning for his LEGITIMATE RIGHT to send text messages during class, over the protests of his "tyrannical" professors. Ugh, God, yes. I used to be at a company which--while great in all other respects--would make us sit through these two-hour quarterly meetings about...well, half of us didn't need to hear any of it, and the rest of us could've gotten the information much better via email.

Guys: it's great that you're going for transparency and all, but I don't care what our EBITDA is, I don't care how much money we saved by putting in the new database system, and I really don't care what's going on in a sector of the company to which I'm in no way connected. I'm in editorial: tell me what sectors we need to sell books in, how many books you want me to publish, and I'm good. Meanwhile, my ass is numb here.
