Seattle's delicate tastebuds
Seattleite [info]killthief is disappointed in Seattle's lack of chain restaurants.

[info]seattle is disappointed in her lack of taste; her appalling lack of taste.

When I am outside of California I miss Mexican food something fierce. Everywhere else does it differently. Tex-Mex is good but it is a veerrrrrrryy different thing.

I'm an Arizona native, and I'll admit that I'm the world's biggest Mexican food snob. I miss it something fierce when I travel.

It was pretty much the only thing we all started missing on a student trip to Europe. We all got sort of homesick two weeks in, but by the end of the trip we were more sad to be leaving than happy to go home, but we all really, really wanted a burrito. Asian food you can get, and of course we went to France and Italy and Spain and had mind-blowing food, and delicious curry in England, but anything from the Americas? Well, I found a restaurant in London that purportedly served Tex-Mex, but I wasn't going to risk it.
