Seattle's delicate tastebuds
Seattleite [info]killthief is disappointed in Seattle's lack of chain restaurants.

[info]seattle is disappointed in her lack of taste; her appalling lack of taste.

I remember one family trip to the Southwest, we kept hearing everyone talk about how 'green' it was. I looked around and saw nothing but brown and red dirt. Sure, the bushes looked like maybe they had some new leaves, and there were a few flowing plants, but that was it.

I'm from Portland, Oregon you see.

I have done this, and I'm from Pittsburgh PA. Same thing, but my biggest one was when people talked about how hard it was raining.

My sister's hair didn't even frizz, and it's the type to frizz at anything. I think the weather channel said it was 15% humidity.

I'm from Texas. The very dry part, with the desertesque climate. We traveled to Portland once when I was little.

There were trees and grass! All so green. It blew my tiny little mind.
