You might be surprised how many Seattle residents scorn Starbucks because it's so corporate. Then turn around and sip lattes that they buy from Tully's, because that's totally not a chain.

You mean, Coffee By Border's Books And Music?

(I can't really knock it - until my store closed, the Border's cafe a few shops down was where we all went for snacks/caffeine fix on our ten-minute breaks.)
