It's a bit of a Bell Curve, IMO. The vast majority are in the center; occasional users of the high-end stuff who aren't above using the cheap stuff. At the outlying ends are where you find the wankers. On the very, very highest-priced yarn users' end, you have people who get so very butthurt at the sale of yarns from yarn clubs or from particular dyers on eBay that they buy the yarn themselves, at astronomical prices, and return it to the dyer. And you have brand loyalists at every level, pretty much, who pride themselves on being brand loyalists. Then there's the OH YEAH MINE WAS CHEAPER THAN YOURS brigade.
No, you can't tell I founded Yarnthropology at all.
