As I understand it, the ruling class does, and it's generally the language that high-level political business is carried out in. You're right, though - Creole is the major language of that country. (Note: Most of what I know about Haitian politics is due to reading news reports about the presidential election - same goes for the language. Although, Haitian passports are printed in Creole first, then French, so...) Post a comment in response: |
