It's been a long, long, time since I made this but I think this particular soda bread would work nicely with cinnamon and brown sugar: MaryAnn Henry's Super Soda Bread 4 c flour 1/2 c sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 3/4 tsp salt 3 c dark seedless raisins (optional) 1 Tbls caraway seeds (optional) 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 1/4 c buttermilk 1 c sour cream Mix dry. Mix wet. Combine. Knead sparingly, like biscuits. Bake 350° for 65-70 minutes. Concise directions are concise, but hopefully sufficient. I always leave out the raisins and caraway because I just plain don't like them. If anyone tries to cinnamon roll this soda bread let me know how it works out. :) Post a comment in response: |
