No. We did not "take prayer out of schools". We only stopped forcing everyone to pray the same way. Y'know, like how you'd want to be able to do if someone was making you light joss sticks to Vishnu before math class or something.

Kids can pray all by their own selves whenever they want (and, in fact, most of them probably do every time there's a pop quiz, you just don't know about it). In fact, there is probably more religious expression now that kids who aren't Christian are free to wear kippah or hijab to school and don't get forced to pray to a God THEY don't believe in. It's not like the principal is prowling the schools with a mind-ray capturing kids when he hears them thinking "God, please let me pass this test" or whatever.

You can pray by yourself, you know. In fact, your Bible says God likes it better when you do that, anyway. Sheesh.
