reading the comments and seeing the reaction of my roommate (while he said that he understood where I was coming from on this, he also gave me that look that tells me that he wonders why anyone ever lets me out in public, I realized that this was an error in judgement on my part.
I have moved this to http://www.journalfen.net/community/unfunny_fandom/profile as was suggested. Honestly, I don't know why it didn't pop into my head to post it there to begin with.

I sincerely apologize for my lack of cluefulness (I accept this as a word...it fits).

Yes, this change totally comes across like a small clarification instead of an absolute and complete change in what you originally said, sure. That will absolutely convince people that you weren't laughing over the completely out-there rape comparison that would, at first glance, appear to be an insult to all humanity! No one will ever wonder why, if you were laughing at the KitKat theme song thing, that would make you think you're going to Hell for it, as opposed to laughing at the rape thing which would totally (and rightly!) make you think that. No one will wonder! You have totally clarified yourself! That makes this completely unfunny post all better! What a relief! Phew!

actually, I considered the KitKat-thing to be part of the whole odd-troll-exchange. But this is not how it appears, and for that I am sorry.

I had left my original bad-phrasing in there because I thought it would be more douche-like to edit it out like it hadn't existed. I have seen wanks where the poster starts editing out anything that makes them look bad, and I didn't want to look like I was trying to manipulate the whole thing that way. Sadly, my clarification was sorely lacking. Both you and my roommate have pretty much made that clear and that it is best just left out.

Again, sorry about my lack of cluefulness, and I have moved the post to a more appropriate forum which I hope will help.
