I do have to say that I'm kind of glad there's some pushback against the Revenge of the Nerds-type "geeks are inherently better boyfriends" meme. I've known a lot of geeks who I wouldn't let my sister's worst enemy date (I'd say "who I wouldn't let my sister date," but hell, I'm her big brother, the rules say I'm not supposed to let her date anybody, right?) At the same time, the guy she is dating (I've gotten over it) is geeky and good for her.
