Oh, also, because the links upthread have reminded me: once upon a time, I was browsing the journalfen comms and I found a link to an awesome collaborative blog thing about people who have had serious issues with the medical industry because of their weight (like having their actual problems go undiagnosed because JUST LOSE WEIGHT AND YOU'LL BE BETTER AMIRITE?).
