That whole sentence is a train-wreck. "I'm incredibly conspicuous and vainglorious about my Christianity, but even though God gave me public hair I wax it, and even though my religion is against premarital sex, I do that too". Why mention it if you're going to completely negate it in the rest of the sentence?
