Once in a while there's an anon meme I visit and I've occasionally seen conversations there about shaving. Not only have I seen young women recoil in horror at the idea of not shaving or waxing, I've seen young women seriously upset that their labia are a bit too large and they're not the "ideal" color down there. It just makes me want to cry. Like women didn't have enough reasons to hate themselves for not perfectly fitting the advertised ideal when I was their age, now it seems like there are a whole bunch more added on. It's not funny at all.
