my friend is not a first-time writer either, so i trust there's something he found interesting about this publishing.

All I know is, Intelligent Writer/Same IP As The ParaDon Email then

1) starts demanding to see everyone's résumés ("I'm still waiting for that resume that proves you know English grammar more than me");

2) mistakenly calls out Richard White ("Sorry to keep jabbing at you guys, but Richard White here is a self-published author. You out of everyone should know to keep your mouth shut. Hell will freeze before i self-published. Even though i may have to");

3) eventually declares, "shoot my mistake then, all i seen is that your book is PRINT-ON-DEMAND alarming!!!";

4) and finally flounces: "last time i'll be on this site. Next time you hear from me, i'll be post my own book like you guys/gals. You have nothing - no evidence - to back up your claims, and i've proved some of you guys to be a liar. And so i don't work for ParaDon, i just like heated debate. BYE"--

Ballet Shoes as in the children's book in the "Shoe" series? With hot toddies and fairies and Pauline learning not to be a drama queen? Oh, I loved that book as a child.

Though I've noticed that ebooks, even from respected sites (Amazon, I'm looking at some of your Kindle editions) are a bit wonky -- grammatical mistakes, the occasional bit of weird formatting, etc. I'm hoping this is something that sorts itself out as ebooks develop as a product. (I have no idea what the publication process is for these things -- I'm guessing errors slip through more easily...? No clue.)

	That's completely depressing but utterly sense-making. Oh, God bless publishers and their idiocy. Sooner or later they're going to realize that you can't sell a digital product and enforce its distribution as if it were a hard copy. The MMPA and RIAA learned THAT one a long time ago. 	Nah. Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence. Doing ebooks right is actually pretty hard; getting them to work perfectly in each format is really, really hard. (Reply to this)(Parent)
