I've actually tried myself. I've even tried adding in keywords like the name of the school paper or the local one - I can get an article in which I'm quoted from the school paper that way, but apparently the "real" newspaper doesn't have archives up? A straight Google of my name and any other basic information, like the city I live in, gets you nothing. Basically, you'd have to know what high school I went to and the name of the school newspaper to find a reference to me online, and I live on the other side of the country right now.
