He calls "M.R. Mathias" a pen name.

I swear I've heard of this guy somewhere before. He seems really familiar. Even his books seem familiar.

His website is... evocative.

In the first paragraph of his book The Sword and the Dragon: "No one attempted the climb two days in a row before." Oh my.
