You can find ducks, monkeys, and giraffes. Sometimes frogs. (Of course, the ducks and giraffes are often subtly coded for girls, while the frogs and monkeys are subtly coded for boys...)

The "Little Me" brand had some decent neutrals, like this, for example. Carter's seems to be pretty heavily gendered, by contrast (there are occasional neutrals, but they're rarer; you can get some neutral receiving blankets from them, though). The Gerber stuff never fit properly. He grew so quickly that I eventually cared most about "what's cheap at the second-hand clothing store," though.
