Yeah, I was kind of new to fountain pens (still am, really), and needed ink because I bought a pen + 20 cartridges in a shop in Strasbourg during study abroad, and I was out of cartridges. Googling led me to xFountainPens for decent ink at a low price (and free shipping), and I ended up falling in love with one of the pens - a red Art Deco looking one (now out of stock, and the one I ended up getting is a bright chartreuse). (this is the white version of my green pen - only the inner part of the cap popped out and I haven't been able to reattach it, so the outer cap doesn't stay on well, which means the nib dries out quickly. it writes beautifully, but i haven't used it much since the cap separated.) I ended up getting this teal-blue mini pen at the same time, and it is a dream to use. I like the twisty cap, and the weight is perfect with or without the cap attached - I tend to prefer thinner, more lightweight pens because my hands tire easily. I have two super gorge Acme pens (this ABC guy here and the Michael Graves one, both with fountain pen kits instead of rollerball), and while they are super stylish and a lot of fun to carry around, they're way too heavy and thick for me to use regularly at work. And I'm the kind of person who prefers to write things by hand for first drafts, because it helps me organize my thoughts and goes faster than typing (I agonize too much about words when typing, though I'm a very fast typist). Anyway, I LOVE my mini pen. It's not super mini - maybe 3 inches, 5 if the cap is posted, and it's really cute. Plus, the teal-blue shade is pretty, like the ocean or the sky. And I have this ink for it, which I think is called blue-black elsewhere sometimes? And I've seen reviews for different pens/inks at xFP at the FountainPenNetwork. But I've been looking for other affordable pens so that I can keep multiple colors on hand without having to change my inks all the time (and I have a few bottles that need pens that don't require cartridges, since I'm not about to eyedropper fill cartridges all the time), so I'm happy to have the link to jetpens.com from above - all my googling and whatnot these last few years and I've somehow not ever actually stumbled upon the site, however the hell that may have happened.
