I haven't watched it before, so the physical violence towards patrons caught me by surprise. Not so much the yelling, I've worked in some dives where Basil Fawlty would have been shocked at the owners' behaviour, but it getting to the point of trying to harm people was an eye-opener. I really thought Gordon was going to lose his shit when the waitress was fired.
