Yeah, on the Kitchen Nightmares I've seen (all UK), when the staff is mistreated, he gets ANGRY. Like, otherwise he yells at people for a reaction (and he says he does this a lot), but when people are mean to their staff, he gets this slow boil going and his normal screaming-and-swearing persona changes to someone whose anger is much more frightening.

He did apparently ask the girl if she needed a cab.
