I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall when they got the call though.
Having worked for a PR firm, I'm almost tempted to believe that it wasn't ABC who reached out to them (I don't think Amy or Samy have enough media savvy to even consider that option), but some young, hotshotshark salesperson who phoned ABC, and was totally unaware of his CEO's comments earlier that morning.
I've known enough salesmen who would try to sell their company's PR services to terrorist organizations if they thought they'd make a commission and not wind up in jail. Some of the right-wing organizations that I had to write pro copy for literally turned my stomach (and this was pre-9/11). I stayed with them for 18 months, before finally quitting in disgust.
