For a person to complete a 50,000 word NOVEL (I'm being fair by assuming 5 characters per word which in typing includes spaces since as you know doesn't happen automatically but is not counted as characters in Word or to make simple, 4 letter words which is unlikely in a novel)

Dude, you're needlessly making this whole NaNo overly complicated. Also, not really following your reasoning. Words consist of about 5 characters including spaces that don't get counted but have to be included and we have to do all this in 24 hours or else the world will end because Bruce Willis won't be here in time or something? I kind of lost track of the argument.

Also, the site is pretty clear it's to be done in 30 days. What's with the 24 hours?
